This barrel is top notch in every way. The machining and finishing are flawless. The contour provides excellent balance, cooling properties, and rigidity without all of the unnecessary weight. I ultimately bought this barrel after being fed up with over gassed systems and finicky gas port sizes and it did not disappoint. To top things off, the journal dimensions can accommodate a front sight base so you’re not limited to a low profile gas block.
